We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Release 1.0.5 of Heimdall Data, packed with bug fixes, enhanced performance, and exciting new features to elevate your database experience!

Bug Fixes:

We have successfully resolved the packaging issue that was present in the 1.0.4 release vendor neutral package. This issue could potentially cause problems with driver downloads if installed in a non-root account during application startup. With this fix, you can enjoy a hassle-free installation and seamless application launch.

The cache button has been optimized to properly identify patterns that were previously covered by a cache rule. This enhancement ensures smoother caching behavior, resulting in improved query execution and overall system efficiency.

Another critical issue we addressed involved the Heimdall server component. After application startup, if the server was restarted and the configuration counter was incremented, the driver may not pull new configurations until the configuration version matched the previous server instance. This issue is now resolved, allowing seamless integration of new configurations for uninterrupted performance.

Additionally, we have made significant improvements in database failure detection with multiple application servers. These enhancements will empower your database setup with enhanced reliability and fault tolerance.

To further boost logging performance, we have optimized thread behavior on the server. This improvement ensures smoother, faster, and more efficient logging, providing better visibility into your database operations.

Exciting New Features:

Introducing the all-new “stack trace” rule! This feature allows you to effortlessly identify the source of queries, with an option to generate traces only for slow queries. The “stack trace” rule will provide valuable insights into query origins, aiding in efficient query analysis and optimization.

We are thrilled to present a default option on tag rules. This feature allows you to create a default rule template for a long rule list, streamlining the rule creation process and making rule management a breeze.

At Heimdall Data, our commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction drives us to deliver the best database performance solutions. With Release 1.0.5, we have resolved issues, introduced new features, and optimized performance to ensure your database operations run flawlessly.

Experience the power of Heimdall Data’s latest release and unlock the true potential of your database infrastructure. Upgrade now and witness the difference firsthand!
